My boss, who was supposed to go for this event, asked me to represent
our subsidiary.
I agreed and got myself a free custom-tailored outfit based on
Malaysian Batik. But I had to arrive at HQ by 6.30am (!) before being
whisked off on our bus to the stadium. At least they gave us breakfast.
The event was hosted by the Ministry of Human Resources and the Prime
Minister of Malaysia was the guest of honour.
There were quite a few performances by local artists and you can see
short video clips of one performed by the Petronas group.
